Privacy Policy

Last updated . This explains what ("we", "us") collects when you use this site, why, and what you can ask us to do. You must be 18 or older to use the paid service.

What we collect

Beta sign-up: your name, email, the plan you chose and what you sell (optional).
Research request: your name, email, item name, details and links you type, and the photos you upload.
Payment: Stripe handles your card. We never see or store your card number. We keep your payment status and Stripe reference numbers so we can match payments and issue refunds.
Searches: the text you type into the live listings search is sent to eBay to find listings. It is not linked to your name.
Technical data: our hosting provider logs standard information such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, for security and to keep the site running.
We do not use advertising cookies or trackers. The site does not set cookies for visitors.

How we use it

To prepare and deliver your report, process payment and refunds, and contact you about your request.
To contact beta sign-ups about the beta.
To keep the service secure and prevent abuse, and to meet legal, tax and accounting duties.

We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for advertising.

Who else handles your data

Amazon Web Services: hosting, database, photo storage and email sending. Data is stored in the United States.
Stripe: payments and refunds.
eBay: receives only your listing search text.
Authorities, if the law requires us to share information.

How long we keep it

Photos: deleted automatically after 180 days, or sooner if you ask.
Request records (name, email, item, report, payment status): kept while needed to support you and as long as tax and accounting rules require.
Beta sign-ups: kept until you ask us to delete them or the beta ends.

Your choices

You can ask us to show you the information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, and you can ask us to stop emailing you. Write to . We aim to answer within 30 days. If you live in California, the European Economic Area, the UK or elsewhere with privacy laws, you have the rights those laws give you, and we will honor them. We cannot delete payment records we must keep by law.

Security

Data is sent over encrypted connections and stored in private, access-controlled services. Your report page is a private link that only you have, so keep it to yourself. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot promise otherwise.

Changes

If we change this policy we update the date above. If a change is significant we will tell people who have an open request.
